A wise man once said " length of vision is not a limitation of the place but a limitation of me."  When I'm painting, there is a constant challenge to express what is before me with the excitement of which it was created. This is done through color, line, composition and taking the time it takes to get to know an item or a  place with childlike wonder and delight.

The older I get there grows a true appreciation for the getting back to the seeds of the matter and finding more and more evidence of heaven on earth.
